A man is fighting for his life after being shot at a barbershop in Queens. Police say the man was critically wounded during a robbery attempt Friday night at Beverly's Barber and Beauty Shop on Farmer's Boulevard.

CHELMSFORD -- Super Stop & Shop hit another red light in the construction express lane as DeMoulas Supermarkets Inc. takes the issue back to court. The state Land Court ruled in August to uphold the Chelmsford Planning Board's decision to let Stop & Shop build at 299 Chelmsford St.

SALEM — Jackson's Body Shop celebrated its 50th anniversary with an open house Friday at the business, 3353 Silverton Road NE, Salem. The third-generation collision repair shop was opened in October 1958 by Glen Jackson and his sons Walter and Roger Jackson. It now is owned by their sons Jerry and Larry Jackson.
