No new skills are required, no investment, no work, and you don’t need to learn anything new at all, just go and talk to them. But as you understand, in today’s world that’s not a serious way to build an MLM business, nor any business at all. Long have gone the days when you could talk to a few people about your multilevel marketing opportunity and have some sign up immediately. Today things have changed. We live in a totally different world and if a distributor wants to succeed in this new environment it has to change as well.

Today there are great alternatives that someone can use in order to recruit new members and acquire new customers for his network marketing products. Prospecting methods that really do work and can help someone build a big downline and start making an income. And no, they are not harder than the traditional method that brought a bad name to the multilevel marketing industry. Actually it’s much more harder to go after your friends and relatives, face rejection from people you know, and destroy your good relationship with them.

When you consider all this, it seems much more easier the alternatives like using the Internet for advertising, promotion, and making sales. And you don’t need to rely on online MLM exclusively. There are also offline methods for advertising your opportunity like making use of the print media, like newspapers or magazines. And while you need to have some knowledge on how to do those things, trust me, it’s a lot easier and you carry less emotional burden than going through your warm market.

So stop wasting your time on chasing friends and relatives and embark on the new prospecting and recruiting methods that can make the difference to your network marketing home business. Your time is very precious to waste it on things that don’t give you any results.
